Fitness 'n Fun returns to Lewes Canalfront Park May 19

Residents are invited to enjoy a morning of health and well-being in the fresh outdoor air of Lewes Canalfront Park Sunday, May 19. Quest Fitness and Kayak is hosting its second annual Fitness 'n Fun in the Park from 8 a.m. to noon.

This year, Quest Fitness is joining other local fitness professionals from Soul Yoga, Millsboro World Gym, Zumba with Kelly, Quest Kayak , Pilates with Forever Fit Foundation and The Body Shop of Rehoboth. The many activities include yoga, Pilates, Zumba, kick boxing, group and kid fitness sessions, and kayak and stand-up paddling. Some of the day's activities include Yoga with Soul Yoga from 8 to 9 a.m.; kayak and SUP demos by Canal Quest Kayak from 9 to 11 a.m., Boot Camp for all ages by Quest Fitness from 9 to 9:30 a.m., Zumba by Zumba with Kelly from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., mat Pilates with Forever Fit Foundation from 10 to 10:45 a.m., kick boxing with Quest Fitness from 10 to 10:30 a.m., spinning with Body Shop from 10:30 to 11 a.m., group fitness with World Gym from 10:30 to 11 a.m., kids FIT with Quest Fitness from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and Zumba with Zumba with Kelly from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

One of the most beautiful locations in Lewes, Lewes Canalfront Park comprises nearly three acres and is on Front Street on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. It is the site of other popular 2013 events including Picnic in the Park, Concerts by the Canal and Cinema by the Canal. The park is a direct result of past and ongoing support of Friends of the Canalfront Park. The Friends organization welcomes new members and volunteers.
