Attorney General's Office: Tatnall assistant JV soccer coach faces child porn charges

May 1, 2013

A Hockessin man, who officials say was the assistant junior varsity soccer coach at the Tatnall School, was arrested April 30 on child pornography charges.

Officers with the Delaware Child Predator Task Force arrested Daniel R. Cooke, 26, at his home where they seized several computers, assorted media and electronic storage devices, said Jason Miller, spokesman for the Attorney General's Office.

A forensic preview of the seized evidence revealed multiple files of child pornography, including a video of an elementary school-age girl engaged in sex acts with an adult male, Miller said.

Cooke was charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography and committed to Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $1.5 million secured bond.
