LaVerne McIntyre is featured artist at the Wibergart Gallery

The Wibergart Gallery will join with the other Galleries at 20 Baltimore Avenue to celebrate May flowers, Mother’s Day, women in art and the proud lady of France, Paris. The guest artist is a mother and a fine artist, LaVerne McIntyre.

McIntyre’s work in this show emphasizes local scenes. Her work is simple, uncluttered and thought-provoking She has a passion for light and shadow. Her works are designed to express the significance and visual impact of the ordinary person, place or thing by simply including the shadow it casts.

McIntyre studied with Linda Mankowski at Wilmington University for five years. She is a member of Artworks 19971, the Delaware Shore Artist Group and the Rehoboth Art League. Her work is exhibited at Studio 3 at 20 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach.
