CAMP Rehoboth to unveil new exhibit by local artists

Reception set May 11
May 9, 2013

CAMP Rehoboth will present an exhibition of new works featuring local artists Michael Muller and David Smith. We Collect What We Can Bare will run from Saturday, May 11, through Friday, May 31, with an opening reception from 5 to 8:30 p.m., May 11.

Found object artist Smith uses the crucifix as art as a way to represent love and sacrifices. He started using the crucifix in his artwork to symbolize milestones in his friends' and loved ones' lives. Each crucifix has hundreds of miniature details to symbolize love and self-sacrifice. Muller showcases digital collage work to highlight moments of a life. His pieces capture the human spirit and how it gathers knowledge along its journey.

A special open house event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 25. CAMP Rehoboth is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information contact Salvatore Seeley, 302-270-5503. CAMP Rehoboth is at 37 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach.
