Fowler Beach body ID'd as missing boater

A body that washed up on Fowler Beach May 9 has been identified as the missing man from an April Cape May boating accident.

Joshua Catlett, 24, had been missing since April 4 after the crabbing boat he was in capsized near Cape May. The search was called off April 5.

Deputy Director of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Hal Brown said Catlett's family was notified May 10 that his body had been found. He said Catlett drowned and his death was accidental.

A person walking on the beach at 12:15 p.m. found the body.
