Lopez responds on lack of courtesy

May 16, 2013

The following letter is a response to Greg Oliver's letter appearing in the May 10 edition of the Cape Gazette.

Dear Mr. Oliver:

Thank you for your note and I'm sorry that my vote on HB 75 was a disappointment to you.

You mentioned that you emailed me several weeks ago and did not receive a response.  I have gone through both my inbox, saved inbox, deleted folders and junk mail and did not see an email with your name.  If you have a copy, please send it along.

While I don't mind at all any feedback (negative or positive) regarding votes, I do take exception to a writer making implications that I some how lacked the courtesy to respond to a message if I did not receive the message in the first place.

Dr. Ernesto B. Lopez
