Dewey arts fest postponed to Sunday

The second annual Dewey Beach Arts Fest has been postponed until Sunday, May 12, still set 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dagsworthy Avenue, bayside in Dewey Beach.

The arts fest will feature 60 artists and crafters. Art includes jewelry, ceramics, wood, photography, paintings, pastel, mixed media, fabric, quilts, leather, glass, candles and more.

In addition to the artist vendors, there will also be a mini art gallery displaying art from the students of Cape Henlopen School District, and a silent auction.

The festival also includes live entertainment from Viki Dee, a live band and two magic shows as well as face painting, free balloons and a moon bounce.

Dewey restaurants will be serving free food samples throughout the festival.

Parking and admission are free. Complimentary gift-wrapping for Mother’s Day will be available.
