Free admission to Treasures of the Sea exhibit May 18

Admission to the Treasures of the Sea exhibit in the Stephen J. Betze Library on the Owens Campus of Delaware Technical Community College is free Saturday, May 18, to celebrate International Museum Day.

The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking is available next to the library building.

Each year the International Council of Museums organizes a special day to raise awareness on how important museums are to society. This year’s theme is Museums (Memory + Creativity) = Social Change. The day is celebrated by almost 30,000 museums in 100 countries.
