Painting Seascapes in Watercolor June 8 and 9
May 17, 2013

Guest professional artist Annie Strack is ready to meet with local artists to help them bring their paintings to life. She will teach Painting Seascapes in Watercolor Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, at the Mispillion Art League in Milford. The class will last two full days, hours to be determined. Tailored to meet the needs of local artists, Strack will teach techniques to paint realistic water and sky.

Participants will also learn how to create convincing reflections and shadows in water and how to paint various types of waves and water movement. Watercolor techniques of glazing, washes, dry brush, masking and lifting will be covered. Also, composition, design, values and use of color temperature will make this workshop worthwhile for any artist.

Information is available for local B&B or motel options in the area for travelers who don't want to miss this opportunity. Cost is $165 for MAL members and $185 nonmembers. A one-day option is available for $105/$115. Register by Saturday, June 1.
