Savannah Hall Blackwell, Rehoboth native

Savannah Amanda Hall Blackwell, 71, of Rehoboth Beach, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at home, surrounded by her loving children and family members.

Savannah was born Sept 3, 1941, in Rehoboth to the late York and Catherine Waples Hall. Savannah worked as a librarian, computer data entry specialist, with the NASA space program, and Avon Fashions, retiring in 1995 and moving back to Rehoboth to enjoy her retirement.

Savannah is survived by her two sons, Robert and Debra Blackwell of Lafayette, Colo., and Wayne and Angie Blackwell of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters, Sheena and Rodney Frazier of Rehoboth, Venetia Hall of Baltimore, Md., and Kathryn Felton of Raleigh, N.C.; her oldest granddaughter, Carman Blackwell of Rehoboth; seven great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers.

A Love and Remembrance Service will be held Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Friendship UM Church, 30983 Friendship Road, Millsboro.
