Sussex Street partitioning approved

The Rehoboth Beach Planning Commission approved, by a 5-1 vote, a partitioning for property at 56 Sussex St.

The partitioning was approved on the condition that the new lots comply with the city’s tree ordinance and demolish the existing building.

Owners Alexander Martin Clark and Eileen Stroud Clark are dividing four lots into two 7,027 square foot lots.

The commission raised concerns about the side yard setbacks on the eastern side of the property, imposing a 9-foot setback that will remain a condition until the building is demolished.
