Howard W. Bowman Jr., retired pipefitter
Howard W. Bowman Jr., 85, of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at his home.
Howard was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a retired pipefitter with Local 782 in Seaford, with 45 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bob Bowman. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Peggy S. Bowman; a son, Howard Bowman III.; a daughter, Joann Warrington; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Howard’s memory to, the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford, DE. 19963.
