Carmeline B. Reeves, former Lewes resident

Carmeline Bazarte Reeves, 75, of Stevensville, Mich., and formerly of Lewes, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013.  Carmeline was born March 18, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Bazarte and Carmelina Cardoso Bazarte; and her only sibling, Nilo Albert Bazarte.  She is survived by her five children, Valerie Walters and her husband Ray of Delaware, Michael Reeves and his companion Karen McKee of Delaware, Wayne Reeves and his wife Melissa of California, Rodney Reeves and his wife Stephanie of Pennsylvania, and Brenda Martindale and her husband Robert of Michigan.

She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Swain of Delaware, Morgan, Austin, Harrison and Camryn Reeves of California, Rebecca, Stephen, Michael and Matthew Reeves of Pennsylvania, and Emily, Hannah and Mitchell Martindale of Michigan.

Additionally, she is survived by her loving niece, Cecelia Leggieri and her husband Paul; her two great-nieces, Amanda and Allison Leggieri of Texas; her loving sister-in-law, Rose Bazarte of Texas; and special friends Rei and Don Boyle of Delaware, Barbara Harlan of Delaware, and childhood friend, Zena Anchor of Nevada.
