Sussex Academy inducts Leo Club members

Sussex Academy in Georgetown held an induction ceremony Mayy 23 for its first extracurricular service club, the Leo Club. The Leo Club, sponsored by the Milton Lions Club and Lions Clubs International, provides youth with volunteer opportunities and experience in public service while teaching leadership. The Sussex Academy Leo Club is one of the 10 Leo Clubs in Delaware.

Leaders from the Lions Club District were on hand to induct the charter members and the officers for the Sussex Leo Club. The ceremony began with the induction of 38 Leo charter members by District Gov.-elect Mary Lee Phillips of Millsboro.
