William V. Emerson, 61, of Laurel passed away at home Saturday, June 1, 2013. “Willie” was born Sept. 10, 1951, in Lewes to his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Emerson Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; daughter, Angela; two grand-daughters, Elizabeth and Sierra; sister, Mary Francis Grice; brother George Emerson Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Willie was known for his long-standing career as a truck driver and enjoyed helping and making others laugh.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 10, at 7 p.m., at Laurel Baptist Church, 33056 BiState Blvd., Laurel.
