Millville Town Peddler presents artist Sharon O’Brien Huey for month of July

Millville Town Peddler will host artist Sharon O’Brien Huey for a monthlong exhibit, Everyday Magic Artwork, during July. The show depicts everyday landscapes and scenes whose otherworldly character has been revealed by Huey’s imagination.

A Meet the Artist reception will take place at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 20.

A self-taught creator, O’Brien Huey defines "artography" as an innovative technique in which real-life images are physically altered to reflect their creator’s inner vision. Artographers begin with an original photograph, then apply new elements using a combination of traditional and digital art media. The texture and atmosphere added by the artist bring these new scenes to life.

Everyday Magic Artwork, the Artography of Sharon O’Brien Huey, is free and open to the public. The artwork will be available for purchase. Members of the community are invited to come enjoy the art, take part in the artists’ reception and sale specials, and partake in light refreshments.
