MS Shore Group learns about new research and medications

Members of the Sussex County MS Shore Group got an update on MS research at the June 5 monthly meeting from neurologist Dr. Jason M. Silversteen, DO, shown at the meeting. Silversteen is the director of the Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Center, and his practice is at Christiana Care Neurology Specialists in Newark.
Silversteen explained the current status of MS research, reviewed the growing list of medications that are approved for use by MS patients and answered questions from the nearly 30 members who attended.
