William T. "Bill," "Pop Pop" Robertson Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Lewes, with his family, 
Saturday June, 8, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Mary Lewis; and his son-In-law, John Kirk Armstrong.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Theresa; and his daughters Cathleen Theresa and Julia Elizabeth Armstrong; and his grandson, Little Jon; and his son William Thomas and his wife Anne Wise.

Bill was born in Jacksonville, Fla. July 4,1930. His career in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army started Oct 5, 1950, and took him worldwide until retirement May 1, 1974. He was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart, Commendation, Good Conduct, National Defense Service, Korean Serviced, Vietnam Service, United Nations Korea Service and the Vietnam Campaign medals and other citations and awards for his service to his country.

After running his own Little Flower business in Arlington Va., he and his wife retired to Lewes in 2004 after spending weekends and summer vacations in Lower Delaware since 1972. 

A well-read man, who was multilingual (Spanish and Arabic), Bill enjoyed politics, a good book, all types of music and even a better a good conversation. He was a loyal family man, who will be deeply missed.

Bill endured Parkinson's disease for over 20 years; however his prostate cancer was his last battle.

Services and burial will be held privately at Millsboro Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services.
