Brown's Real Estate Services welcomes Cory Burd

Brown’s Real Estate Services Inc. announces the addition of newly licensed real estate appraiser Cory Burd to its appraisal staff. Burd obtained his license in May from the Delaware Division of Professional Regulation.

Burd joined Brown’s Real Estate Services in October 2011, and shortly after obtained his trainee license and began learning the ropes from certified residential appraisers Kurt Brown and Virgil Brown and residential appraiser Michael Marino.

Burd was one of only four appraiser trainees with active licenses in the entire state of Delaware, as higher education standards and strict guidelines have discouraged many from entering the field.

Originally from New Jersey, Burd attended the University of Maryland where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Currently residing in Millsboro, he has family throughout Sussex County.
