Worcester Prep names Grade 3 super spellers

Worcester Preparatory School's 2013 Grade 3 Spelling Bee winners are (l-r) Maggie Miller, Salisbury, Md., first place; Grace Baeurle, Rehoboth Beach, second place; and Abbey Miller, Salisbury, third place. Some of the final words in the competition were “etiquette,” “neighborhood” and “curriculum.” Head of Lower School Celeste Bunting said, “Our students in Worcester Prep’s Grade 3 have such excellent spelling skills that it took us two periods to finally come up with a champion and two other winners. We covered all the words in the curriculum and then went on to many more difficult words. I am so proud of all of these students.”
