Lewes businessman Charlie Arnold to serve on NASE council

June 20, 2013

Charlie Arnold, owner of Lewes small business Arnold Powerwash LLC, has been selected by the National Association for the Self-Employed - the nation’s leading resource for self-employed and micro-businesses - to serve as part of the 2013 Member Council.

The 16 new members, including Arnold Powerwash, represent a diverse range of small business owners from across the country helping provide leadership for the national organization by sharing their unique insights and experiences to help guide the association in new initiatives and programs.

“We could not have made it over 30 years without the dedication and unique insights of our members, represented in part by these 16 small business owners selected for this year’s Member Council,” said Kristie Arslan, president and CEO of the National Association for the Self-Employed.

“Our 2013 Member Council will work with NASE staff - offering ideas and feedback - on new initiatives to not only help our members get the most from their membership, but also provide anecdotal illustrations of the policies we advocate for and advance to support the needs of America’s smallest businesses.”

“Becoming a NASE member is one way to find help with many of the various needs of your small business. I may be in business for myself, but no longer by myself. NASE provides many back office and outsourcing solutions,” said Arnold.

The NASE Member Council will work with the association staff in a collaborative as well as advisory capacity to offer feedback on association programs and efforts. Council members will act as ambassadors for NASE in their local communities and take the lead on events and outreach related to the association.

NASE also launched its Small Business Locator, helping connect customers with services they need that are provided by small businesses. This online network allows members and the public to locate, collaborate and engage with each other to foster their professional needs.

NASE is a 501c6 nonprofit organization and provides big-business advantages to hundreds of thousands of micro-businesses across the United States. For more information, go to NASE.org.
