The Annual Gilbert Byron Day will be held Saturday, July 13, at the Pickering Creek Audubon Center in Easton, Md.
This event celebrates the life and works of this Chestertown-born Chesapeake and Delaware Bay area writer, shown in a c.1926-27 photo taken in Lewes during a teaching year in the town.
Activities include regional speakers, books, house tour and refreshments.
