The National Weather Service says strong thunderstorms will affect Sussex County this afternoon. The storm was near Seaford about 4:13 p.m. and is expected to hit the Georgetown area about 4:40 p.m., in Lewes about 5:10 p.m. and in Rehoboth about 5:20 p.m.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible, and flash flooding is likely in low-lying areas.
