The Jefferson School bids farewell to class of 2013

June 19, 2013

With great pleasure and a bit of melancholy, parents, staff and Head of The Jefferson School Connie Hendricks bade farewell on June 6 to the largest graduating class thus far. TJS is small by design, and in the words of William Shakespeare from "A Midsummer Night’s Dream," “Though she be but little, she is fierce!”

Prepared to take on high school at several area schools are the graduates: Charles (Alphonse) Burton, Ava Caruso, Bradley Cave, Ryan Dahlke, Joshua Johnson, Destiny Littleton, Cheyenne Poe, Craig Richardson, Austin Ross and Caitlyn Schaffner.  Parents and TJS faculty and staff extended warm congratulations to the class of 2013 and wished the best of luck to each of the graduates in their future endeavors at Sussex Technical High School, St. Thomas More Academy, Delmarva Christian High School and Sussex Preparatory Academy.

The Jefferson School is located on 43 wooded acres in Georgetown and strives to provide innovative academic programs that foster an enthusiasm for learning.
