A decomposed body was found June 18 by three boys walking along the railroad tracks in Lincoln.
The boys were walking around 1 p.m. when they found what appeared to be human bones, said Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.
One of the boys told his mother about the bones and she called police. Police found more remains in a wooded area at the north end of Front Street in Lincoln, Fournier said.
The remains were removed and turned over to the Office of the Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
