Cupcakes for Kittens a big success

June 29, 2013

Just Us, a local cat and kitten rescue group, would like to thank all those who supported the Cupcakes for Kittens bake sale held at Concord Pet Center June 22.  The event was very successful, thanks in part to our hosts, the staff of Concord, headed by manager Marie Tigani.

Thanks also to our bakers, many of whom were Just Us volunteers; for the wonderful assortment of cupcakes and brownies; to the young people who sold our goods, Tatim Kane, brothers Jackson and Joe Curatola; and to Iris Mancuso, who once again gave of her time to ensure the success of the event.

Cupcakes for Kittens is the brainchild of Tatim, a 13-year-old who loves cats and kittens.  Proceeds from this event will help Just Us meet immediate and long range goals for cat rescue and care within our community.
