Dolores E. Brady, Red Hat Society member

Dolores Elaine (May) Brady, 81, of Hershey Run, Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Valley Township, Chester County, Pa., she grew up and raised her family in Claymont, and also lived in Lewes.
Dolores was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Hershey Hugs and the Claymont 49er's.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles E. Brady Jr.; her parents, Reginald F. and Olive M. May; her brother, Reginald V. May; and her sisters, Marjorie E. Walker and Marian J. Tarbutton.
Dolores is survived by her six children, Charles E. Brady III (Marilyn), Wayne L. Brady (Kathy), Michael P. Brady (Betty), Karen E. Carletti (Greg Duncan), Scott T. Brady and Janie M. Blanch (Burt); her 17 grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas F. May; and her sister, Nancy A. Timothy.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek Wednesday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will begin at noon, with interment following in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dolores may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
