Dorothy 'Dot' Robbins, Maryland native

Dorothy “Dot” May Robbins, 86, of Dagsboro and formerly of Upper Marlboro, Md., passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Harrison House in Georgetown.

She was born Aug. 12, 1926 in Hyattsville, Md., daughter of the late Parker and Grace Reinohl.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Orland Robbins in 1989; and a son Marshall Orland Robbins Jr. in 2007. She is survived by a son, David Kenneth (Patricia) Robbins of Dagsboro' a daughter, Linda Lee (William) Wilder of Leesburg, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Alyce Robbins of Prince Frederick, Md.; a brother, David (Joann) Reinohl of Dagsboro; three grandchildren, Joshua Robbins of Dagsboro, David (Lori) Robbins of Raeford, N.C. and Christy (Ross) Montgomery of Prince Frederick, Md.; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 to11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Sussex County, PO Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947.
