Janis M. Gibson, loving mother
Janis M. Gibson, 55 of Georgetown, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013.
Ms. Gibson was born in Lewes Oct. 28, 1957, daughter of the late Herman Littleton and Daisy Watkinson. She was employed as a head housekeeper/front desk worker. She enjoyed working in her garden and spending quality time with her family. She loved her dogs Baby and Sheeba.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Gibson is survived by her two children, Bobbie Jo Herring and her husband Bob and Howard I. Bailey, Jr. “Joey”; three grandchildren, Megan M. Daye, Alyssa Bailey and Andrew Bailey; two brothers, Bill Littleton and his wife Brenda and Allen Littleton; five sisters, Sylvia Hughes and her husband Bob, Wilma Besnoska, Connie Collins and her husband Alfred, Catherine Voss and her husband Danny and Ginny Gurley and her husband Don. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, Tuesday, June 25 from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
