Delmarva on View exhibit opens at Lewes Public Library

The fourth annual Delmarva on View: Delaware, Maryland & Virginia in Photographs Lewes Library Photography contest to benefit Friends of Lewes Library successfully drew 100 entries, having opened with a June 22 reception. The money raised will go to all items in circulation and for various library programs.

The exhibit will run for two months and all photographs are available for purchace with 30 percent to benefit the Friends of Lewes Public Library.

“We were delighted that photograph submissions were triple that of the 2012 event and many photographs represented Maryland and Virginia this year,” said organizer JuneRose Futcher. “Special thanks to Rehoboth Art & Framing for assisting the artists with their framing and materials.  For many artists, Delmarva On View was their first go at a photography contest and show.”
