Cape Crushers win U14 USSSA Delaware title

The Cape Crushers were recently crowned the U14 U.S. Specialty Sports Association Delaware state champions. The team is made up of girls from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Milton, Georgetown, MIllsboro, Delmar and Hebron, Md.

With four tournament championships and two second-place finishes under their belts already this season, the Crushers are ranked third in the region and 14th nationally.

Next up for the Crushers (50-15) is the USSSA World Series in July at the ESPN Wide World of Sports resort. Last season, the Crushers finished fifth out of 48 teams at the World Series.
