DRBA hosts rechristening of MV Cape Henlopen
Public encouraged to visit the newly-refurbished vessel

Gov. Jack Markell addresses a crowd of local dignitaries and Delaware River & Bay Authority employees at the re-christening of the MV Cape Henlopen June 24 on which improvements were made, while utilizing in-house resources to save expense.
This celebration was to acknowledge the efforts of authority employees, signifying the start of the summer season, to inform the public about the improvements and to encourage them to visit the ferry and enjoy the new amenities as the service approaches its 50th anniversary.
