DENVER (June 26, 2013) – Frontier Airlines today announced it will add nonstop service from Wilmington/Philadelphia New Castle Airport in Wilmington, Del. (ILG) to Fort Myers, Fla. (RSW) starting Nov. 16, 2013.

To celebrate this new service, fares as low as $45 to Fort Myers are available only at FlyFrontier.com until June 29. Additionally, $45 fares are also available at FlyFrontier.com to Chicago and Houston from Wilmington until June 29.

As previously announced, Frontier will start service on July 1 from Wilmington to five cities: Chicago-Midway; Denver; Houston; Orlando; and Tampa. The Fort Myers service builds on this new service given the strong customer response Frontier is seeing to its new Wilmington service.

At Wilmington/Philadelphia Airport, Frontier customers can avoid the hassles and lines of airports like Baltimore and Philadelphia. The airport offers affordable parking, transit service on Dart Routes 22 and 25 to downtown Wilmington and the Amtrak/SEPTA station, plus convenient access to Avis and Budget rental cars. Wilmington/Philadelphia Airport is just 38 miles from downtown Philadelphia, and 45 miles from the Delaware State Capitol in Dover, making the airport a convenient gateway to these cities.
