Paddle Fenwick raises $30K for injured war heroes

Delmarva Board Sports in Fenwick Island and Boardworks cohosted a two-day paddle board festival and race June 29 and 30 to raise funds for Operation Second Chance, a 501c3 grassroots organization committed to help transition injured war heroes back to duty or civilian life.

Delmarva Board Sports in Fenwick was the site of June 29 activities. The main event, a 2.5- and 5-mile paddle board race, took place June 30 at Holt’s Landing State Park in Millville and attracted 114 registered racers, making it the largest paddle board race on Delmarva to date. Awards were presented by title sponsor Boardworks.
