Girl falls out of balcony in North Shores

A 2-year old girl fell from a second-story balcony in North Shores July 5 and is receiving treatment at A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital in Wilmington.
Delaware State Police Cpl. Gary Fournier said the girl's parents were home when the child fell and no criminal investigation is underway. The family were tourists from Pennsylvania, Fournier said. The incident occurred at 1:20 p.m.; the child was transported to Wilmington by helicopter.
Fournier said the toddler is in stable condition.
