St. Peter's appreciates art show support

July 14, 2013

On behalf of the vestry and all of the people of Saint Peter’s Church, I would like to thank the community of Lewes for their strong support of our recent art show July 6. We wish to extend a very special thanks to the city elected officials, city staff, public works staff and the Lewes police department for helping us with crowd control and logistical support.

Our deep thanks also goes out to all of our neighbors for their patience and kindness, and especially to Prudential-Gallo for transportation; M&T bank, Bethel UMC, Lewes Presbyterian and the Cape Henlopen School District for allowing us to use their parking lots, and to the Cape Gazette for the supportive publicity.

This year was our 47th annual show and we appreciate all of the support and understanding from the community that allows us to raise funds for our local outreach committee to help those in need. We appreciate all of the artisans who come to share their artwork, which is always well received and to all of our patrons who came out to see and acquire such stunning works of art. It is a joy to be a part of this wonderful town and we feel blessed to be in a such a welcoming and supportive city. Thanks again.

The Rev. Jeffrey Austin Ross
rector, Saint Peter’s Church
