Started in 2010, the 10-34s were originally a band of two: Travis Michels and Brett Townsend. Since then, the band added and subtracted members; this year, after both founding members left the patrol, the 10-34s features the new vocal stylings of Eva Irwin and Ryan Kozel; the addition of Eric Peghini on guitar along with the return of his brother, Marco, also on guitar; Jordan Lingo on bass guitar; and Caleb Smith on drums.

While playing for the visiting lifeguards, the band performed a mash-up of hit songs including "I Want You Back " by the Jackson 5, "Love Shack" by the B-52s and "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk along with a variety of other popular songs.

On July 21 at Aqua Bar and Grill on Baltimore Avenue, the 10-34s will host a fundraiser for the Rehoboth Beach Patrol from 6 to 9 p.m. In addition to musical performances, activities include a push-up contest for entertainment, a 50-50 raffle and an auction featuring gift cards to local restaurants.

All are welcome.
