Habitat families share a picnic and learn about family safety

July 15, 2013

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity conducts a monthly class for its partner families who are currently enrolled in its program. Each month a different topic such as finances, home ownership or maintenance is covered.

The July class was held outside at Georgetown Park, and a picnic was shared by Habitat families, staff, volunteers and donors. During the picnic, the Delaware State Police K-9 Unit gave a presentation, and the Georgetown Police Department offered free fingerprinting for safety.

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. To learn more go to www.sussexcountyhabitat.org, call 302-855-1153 or like on Facebook.
