Touch of Italy has been awarded 2013 Best Cheese and Best Delicatessen by Delaware Today for its second year in a row. Readers voted on their favorite Delaware establishments and named the restaurant group as their downstate favorites in the two categories.

"We thank our loyal customers who participated and helped us achieve this honor. We're proud to bring not only quality products and dishes to the shore, but also the Italian love of deliciously fresh food," explained owners Robert Ciprietti and Joseph Curzi.

Best of Delaware has recognized Touch of Italy in the past, and this is its second year to be named as winner of the Best Cheese and Best Delicatessen categories. Past recognitions include Best Bakery and Best Sandwiches by readers and critics. Touch of Italy is featured in the July 2013 issue of Delaware Today.

Touch of Italy is Delaware's only authentic Italian salumeria and pasticceria.  It has locations at 101 Second St. in Lewes,  33A Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth and The Villages of Five Points Bakery in Lewes with a second Rehoboth location opening soon at Shore Plaza, 19724 Coastal Highway.
