Christian pop songstress April Smart debuts with two albums

July 17, 2013

Independent record label Tate Music Group announces the official release of April Smart’s debut album, “Gonna Help You See” and “Performance Tracks From the Album: Gonna Help You See.”

Produced by Tate Music Group, “Gonna Help You See” and the “Performance Tracks” album are readily available for purchase nationwide at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com, or directly from TateMusicGroup.com.

Hailing from Delaware, April Smart’s journey toward music was not a walk in the park. Pressed with financial difficulties at an early age and a shy kid growing up, she didn’t think it was possible for her to perform in front of an audience. Overcoming these constraints for her passion to sing, she auditioned for the school choir and talent shows. While studying at Liberty University, she was able to participate in a Christian karaoke contest and won as a runner-up. She considers Darlene Zschech and Hillsong United her musical influences.

“Gonna Help You See” is a compilation of Christian pop songs with a unique blend of piano and acoustic sounds. Featured tracks include “Gonna Help You See,” “The Spirit is Filling Me,” “I Knew That It Was You,” “My First Love” and “All Things in Christ.” “Performance Tracks from the Album: Gonna Make You See” is especially created for vocalists who want to sing for their church, at a wedding or any other special occasion.
