Ralph J. Warfle Jr., self-employed carpenter

Ralph J. Warfle Jr., 62, of Laurel, passed away in the loving care of his family and Seasons Hospice Saturday, July 13, 2013.

Born June 16, 1951, to the late Ralph Joseph Warfle Sr. and Margaret L. Davenport Warfle Coladonato. He was a veteran, having served in the Marine Corps, and the Marine Corps Reserves. He was a self employed carpenter, who loved fishing and shooting pool. He was a typical Marine: tough - yet a dedicated single parent devoted to his family, raised his daughter alone, and was very close to her. He was a great cook, loving to cook for everyone in his apartment building.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Marie Lynnette Warfle; and his siblings: Selena Bay, and husband Joseph of Seaford, Mary Bryan and husband Robert of Laurel, Kenneth Warfle and wife Mitzi of Florida, Blaine Warfle, of Paris, Tenn., Edward Warfle and wife Barbara of Bethel, Michael Warfle of Laurel and Merle Warfle of Florida. He was preceded by two brothers: Brett and James Warfle. Ralph is also survived by a special friend he thought of as a daughter, Dana, and her three children he loved as his own grandchildren, Madeline, Emily and Trinity. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service and celebration of his Life will be held at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 28261 Seaford Road, Laurel, at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 20. Interment is private.
