Jack Lingo Realtor supports LYC with donations

August 7, 2013

The Lingo family presents donations for two Lewes Yacht Club programs during a July 21 ceremony at the club. At the presentation are (l-r) John Lingo; Bill Lingo; Jenkie Mason Lingo; Stephen Robinson, vice commodore; Janet Davis, secretary; and Charlie Baker, rear commodore. On behalf of Jack Lingo Realtor, the family donated $5,000 as a major sponsor of the upcoming World Sunfish Championships sponsored by LYC. In addition, the family donated 200 tickets to Jungle Jim's Water Park for club members to sell to establish a race committee boat maintenance and operations fund. The race committee boat is named in memory of J.J. Mason, who is Jenkie Lingo's mother. J.J. Mason devoted most of her free time to LYC and was instrumental in rekindling the youth sailing program. Jungle Jim's tickets for $25 – a $10 savings – are good Friday through Monday during the remainder of the summer season. To purchase tickets, contact Robinson at 302-598-5360 or at srobinson@robgraylaw.com.
