Leona M. Wyatt, Milton homemaker
Leona M. Wyatt, 78, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Harbor Healthcare Center in Lewes.
Leona was born in Milford, daughter of the late Thomas D. and Mae H. (Hall) Courtney.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Milton Senior Center and enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Wyatt Sr.; two sons, Harold C. Wyatt Jr., and Melvin Wyatt; and an infant son.
She is survived by nine children: Laverna M. Bush, Bonnie Lee Porter, Harold C. Wyatt Jr., Dennis B. Wyatt, Thomas D. Wyatt, Carol A. Tallent, Kelvin J. Wyatt, Debbie L. Givens and Amy Jo Wyatt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 26, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton with visitation after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery.
