Paul R. Hayes, loved his family

Paul Ryland Hayes, 36, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Orange, Calif.

Paul was born March 2, 1977, in Harrisburg, Pa., to Paul E. Hayes (Marianne) of Ocean View, and Bonnie Lewis (Michael) of Denton, Md.

Paul graduated from Colonel Richardson High School and attended Washington College. He was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity.

He loved baseball and football, especially the Orioles and Redskins. He also loved to spend time fishing on the Eastern Shore. Most of all he loved spending time with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Becca, who loved him deeply; and sons Clayton Jensvold and Gehrig Hayes of Orange.

He is survived by both parents, and his sister Casie Hayes of Ocean View, who he loved dearly and was very close to; and maternal grandmother, Bunie H. Titus of Salisbury, Md. He is also survived by stepbrothers David Kittell (Monika) of Ocean View, and Thomas Kittell of Belair, Md.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul also had many extended family members and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 12, at Conley’s Chapel, Lewes.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a fund to benefit Paul's sons and their education.
