RAL Kids Camps use nature as inspiration for artistic creation

August 18, 2013

Young campers enrolled in the Rehoboth Art League's summer art camp program for kids are shown with artist-in-residence Cynthia Robinson of New Hampshire as she leads students in building a loom out of materials found around the art league grounds. The children were also taught how to tie knots and bind sticks together.

Among the many kids' classes offered this summer, Robinson taught two creative and innovative camps, Art Trailworks and Natural Inventions. RAL camps offered indoor and outdoor opportunities for creativity, and products ranged from original and illustrated stories, journals and watercolors to collaborative pieces.
