Doris M. Wilson, school bus contractor
Doris M. Wilson, 84, of Seaford, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford.
Doris was a school bus contractor for the state of Delaware for many years and then worked for the Canteen at the Dupont Company in Seaford until she retired. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, an avid reader, loved ceramics, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Barry Wilson (Luanne), Lorraine Miller, Linda Dickens (Ken), Bruce Wilson, (Karen), and John Mark Wilson (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Kristi Gore, Crystal Benson (Tyler), Matthew Dickens (Danielle), Lauren Carey, Ashley Dickens, Jessica Berg (Jorgen) and Mark Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Emma and Chloe Gore, Mason Wiedmann, and Perry Dickens; brothers, Warren and Hollis Hearn; and sister, Kathleen Truitt Hastings.
She was predeceased by sisters Mildred Morgan, Isabelle Chandler and Evelyn Marvil; brothers Francis, Boyce, Lee, Chester and Manning Hearn; and son-in-law Larry Miller.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
