Congrats on College of Marine Science series

August 16, 2013

Congratulations upon the fine coverage through the trio of articles recounting the July 18 presentation by Dr. Charles Epifanio on the “History of Marine Science at the University of Delaware: A Wild, Wet and Windy Story”, at Lewes' Cannon Lab.

Henry Evans' feature articles (July 26, August 2 & 9), so well written, introduce Dr. Epifanio's treatment of the history of those who did not attend the program and yet hold the interest of those who attended and were glad they did.

The names of people as well as the ever-expanding programs of today's College of Earth, Ocean and Environment are forged into the history of Lewes – a facet worthy of pride.
