Lori Citro and The Accidentals to perform in Lewes Aug. 27

The City of Lewes has announced that Lori Citro and The Accidentals will be headlining their final concert of the free WSFS Bank Summer Music Program Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Stango Park.

In the past Citro has played in the rock bands Last Metro and The Stand. While in The Stand she worked with Cornerstone Management (The Hooters), opened for people like T-Bone Burnett, The Tubes, Jonathon Richmond and The BoDeans to name a few.

Citro has received two awards for songwriting through ASCAP based on performance royalties for solo performances at many venues from New York City to North Carolina, including Downtown Newark Festival, Brandywine Festival of the Arts, Mojo 13, Mojo Main, Coffeeworks, Dewey Beach Music Conference, Best of Delaware at Chase and Wilmington Bluerocks.

During the day Citro teaches private piano at Sanford School and Music & Arts in Newark, and counts herself fortunate to make a living as a musician!
