Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 uses Gratitude Grant to say thanks to vets

The Elks National Foundation offers a $2,000 Gratitude Grant for which all lodges are eligible to apply. The purpose of the grant is to help lodges directly address local needs.

Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 recently applied for and received one of these grants.

A home is under lease contract in Milford for homeless, returning, female veterans, some with children. The grant money awarded to Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 will be used by the organization to help with the purchase of furniture and other necessities for the children.
