Stephen S. Fulkerson, accomplished musician

Stephen S. Fulkerson passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Kent General Hospital. Stephen was born Aug. 20, 1955, in Big Spring, Texas to the late Richard Fulkerson and Nancy Kueny Fulkerson.

He had worked as an IT for Capitol School District in the printing office. Stephen was an accomplished musician and musical mentor for many. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Ravens and NASCAR.

Stephen is survived by his companion, Bobbie Hobbs of Dover; his brothers, Mike Fulkerson and his wife Vanessa of Camden and Joey Fulkerson of Dover; sisters, Patti Anderson and her companion Tim Cano of Lewes and Salli Saunders and her husband Clark of Seaford; nephews, Donovan Anderson and his wife Andrea of Camden, Jonathan Anderson of Niceville, Fla.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, and 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday. The family requests casual attire to be worn.
